How we started…
It all started many years ago, more than 30 years ago, with a trip to Asia where we visited several countries and many factories. We were captivated by everything: the quality of the materials, the working spirit, the good people… and we decided to start creating, together with the factories that we liked the most and that most resembled our way of seeing the business (attention to detail), a not very extensive range of garden furniture. One thing led to another and one contact to the next and after many years improving and growing we see ourselves today as a reference in Europe as far as garden furniture is concerned both in physical stores and online.
Many of you ask us about our name and where “kerama” comes from. Kerama is the name of a Japanese archipelago of islands. There is nothing like a group of islands with a sub-tropical climate to enjoy outdoor meals, relaxing in a hammock or a cocktail in a coffe set, but if you also mix this with our bond with Asia and with the spirit of work and the search for perfection of the Japanese people…
