General recommendations:
• Breakdowns or damage caused by:
• Accidental causes such as falls, blows, spillage of liquids, introduction of foreign bodies, as well as any other force majeure.
• Negligent, improper, or non-domestic use.
• Accelerated damage, corrosion and/or oxidation due to adverse environmental conditions
• Stains and discolorations due to non-respect of our cleaning instructions
• Damage occurred during assembly and handling without having followed the indicated assembly instructions.
Instructions for use and maintenance:
• Clean with the help of a cloth gently or use a neutral liquid soap, rinsing with plenty of water.
• Remove dust regularly with the help of a soft cloth and clear water.
• Do not use detergents or abrasive products for cleaning.
– Linseed oil treatment: Before applying a layer of linseed oil on the product in its natural state, it is advisable to leave it outside for 2 or 3 weeks, so that it takes on a homogeneous appearance and aerate it. Clean with clean water using a brush and allow to dry. Once it is well dry, it should be sanded with a sheet of sandpaper between 120 and 150 grams, carefully and loosely, following, as far as possible, the direction of the veins; this operation should never be carried out in the early hours of the day.
To maintain the color, it is advisable to repeat the process once or twice a year.
If the linseed oil has already been applied to the furniture, it is advisable to sand it every three years so that the successive coats of oil do not prevent the wood from transpiring.
